What does the subconscious mind look like? What is the connection between the mind and body? After doing hypnosis sessions, I’ve seen what is inside my own subconscious mind, and the images that I’ve seen there, and other events, inspired me to create these pieces.

Hi, I’m Michelle! I was born and raised in South Florida, I studied art from an early age before attending a prestigious high school for the arts and then PAFA in Philadelphia. Later I went on to earn an M.A. in Art Education. I’m passionate about creating, whether it is in the form of painting, drawing, writing stories or even creating art lessons for my students.

I work on many different projects that seem unrelated at first – acrylic paintings of the subconscious mind, observational watercolor paintings of my surroundings, portraits of people that I know, and books for children. Drawing and painting, for me, is my way of exploring the world and documenting everything in my life as a way to remember.
