This watercolor painting was sketched early in the morning in front of the amphitheater in Mizner Park. The morning light was shining on the blue tiles and sparkling water. Shortly after completing the painting, the fountain was removed and the statue of Florence “Flossy” Keesely, a community benefactor, and her dog were placed on a pedestal instead.
